MKO Studio was born from the idea to help Chicago film productions, prop, set decorating, and art departments find easier access to quality, clearable graphics for their projects. A film graphic designer, after being routinely been tasked with created many of the items found online, the idea came to provide a service that is easy to supply productions with ‘stock’ items that looked and felt real, that would pass modern clearance requirements, and easily sourced, and (most importantly)…. didn’t look like they were made 30 years ago.

Although located in Chicago, MKO Studio has the ability to supply your project with graphic props in any state. In addition to the stock items listed in the website, MKO Studio is always accepting custom requests and new projects. Period or vintage work is approached with an attention to detail and research to maintain historical accuracy. Currently, this is a boutique operation, but growing every day.

If it can’t be made by us, we’ll find someone who can. And as always, attention to detail, above all else.
